U23D was f’n awesome.
I haven’t had this much fun at the movies since Murderball. It was Die Hard level amazing to see this film in the theater, it’s 3D for christ sake, so I guess you can only see this in the theater. I get sick of Bono and his hopeful episodes, and just how great this band is, and how well they seem to get along… but then I get over it, U2 is just the perfect band. This film has Bono hamming it up to the Argentine crowd as only he can do, but nothing can stop a fan from loving the visuals in this film.They work the 3D perfectly I feel, sometimes they don’t do it enough, but it feels right. On a couple songs during the encore part of the live show, they really go for it on the 3D tip, using fonts and text coming out at the viewers more than before, thank God they kept that for the end and to a minimum.The movie rocks and I suggest it to anyone. So good.
